Use of personal information
We do not sell, rent, exchange or share your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy.
We will use the information you give us to perform the services you request. For example, if you fill out a form requesting more information about TeleStrategies, ISS World or a conference we are hosting, we will use the information you provide us to contact you. If you register for a conference, webinar or training program, we will use the information you provide us to process your payment (if any), send you correspondance related to the event, prepare conference materials (e.g., a namebadge) or use that information in a manner that is consistent with providing conference or training services.
The type of information we may collect
If you fill out a form with TeleStrategies, or through our third-party registration systems (including Cvent, Kajabi, Gotomeeting, Paypal and other similar hosting companies), we may collect your contact information, such as name, address, email, and telephone number. We may also collect your payment information.
Sharing your information with our program partners and contractors
Our policy and practice is to not sell, rent, exchange or share your personal information.
However, in certain circumstances and on a limited bases, we may need to share certain information you provide to us with our program partners. For example, many of our program sponsors receive passes to our events which they can use to invite their customers. In this case, we may need to notify the program sponsor should an attendee register with their pass. Or, in certain circumstances, we may share your information with our program speakers so that they can customize their training material; provide you additional information regarding the training session; plan for their session; or provide you information for related services they provide that we consider valuable to you.
There may be other circumstances where we must disclose your information to venue provides or other contractors who are providing us conference related services. For example, we have had situations where a hotel venue has asked us to reconcile their sleeping room occupancy list with our registrations in order to verify discounted rates. There may also be circumstances where we must share your information with security personell, law enforcement and/or a venue provider. We also may use outside registration personell to assist us at registration, or generally provide program support. In these cases, we may need to provide our contractors and/or security personell your personal information.
We ask that our program partners and contractors keep your information private and use it only within their organization for the purpose intended, but we can not guarantee that they will do so.
Correcting and updating your information
We retain the information you share with us for as long as we need to in order to provide you the services you request. We may also retain your information for a reasonable period of time for TeleStrategies to conduct audits, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, market our products or for other legitimate business interests.
If you believe any personal data we maintain about you is incorrect or incomplete, you may ask us to correct it. In addition, you may ask for a copy of it, or you may ask us to delete it. Where your data may be sent
If you are located outside of the United States, we may transfer the personal data you provide to us to the United States. By sharing your data with us, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.
Cookies
We do not use cookies or similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, ad tags) on our websites (e.g., TeleStrategies.com or ISSWorldTraining.com) except to extent that our Web Hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) uses cookies for diagnostic and/or user experience purposes. We rely on third-party hosted systems (Cvent, Kajabi, Gotomeeting, Paypal and other similar hosting companies) to process your registration should you decide to register for conference or online training product produced by TeleStrategies. In that case, our system will redirect you to the external website, which in turn may use cookies to recognize you and/or your devices on, off, and across our different websites. You can control how cookies are used through your browser settings and other tools.

Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent, unless permitted by law. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it in accordance with applicable law.
Your California privacy rights
(a) California residents are entitled once a year, free of charge, to request and obtain certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. (b) California residents who are registered users may also request and obtain removal of content.
